Smart move on Facebook's part. We have more freedom to market ourselves or our brand and Facebook gets to automate a LOT of work that is otherwise an annoying anti-productive task.

This is a nice change. I'm happy to hear the rules are more relaxed but simpler to understand as well. To me, this is Facebook saying "ok, you can advertise but keep the font size small." In other words, don't go forcing deals and promotions down visitor's throats. I agree with that.

Straight-forward. The tiling is a nice option. There are plenty of great free tiling images on the web to choose from.

Marketers will love the guest video option but i still feel that the majority are just tired of so many changes, fed up frankly. I can understand both sides. On one hand, the new channels look more organized and add a more consistent experience across many devices. On the other hand, people really dislike when they feel like a part of their person is being changed. YouTubers often get very attached to their channel, background and setup.

It's obvious why YouTube is heading in this direction. It's a cleaner, more engaging design that looks good across all devices. As for the channel art at the top, it's ridiculous to ask the average user to upload such a massive image. Not everyone is a graphic designer.

When i click the deal for the xbox 360 + kinect deal i see a bunch of other "other users also viewed" which have other xbox 360 bundled deals but when i click on any of them, the price is higher. Anyone know if those are going to work on BF?

Awesome stuff. This is exactly what i was looking for. I think i will try this along with an ad plugin to get ads with a post. I'll report back with the results.

P.S. I'm interested in adding ads for posts with specific tags.

Yea, i suppose it depends on where you live. I cringe to think what the GameStop in downtown Manhattan will look like! My GameStop has about 20-30 people standing outside at the midnight launch for Halo 3.

Things do come up and sometimes people have to leave a game, i agree. It's the people who make a habit of it that will find themselves penalized. I can't imagine Bungie would act on just a few quits or even 10-20 quits in a month. Those who actively and habitually quit should be penalized.

To be honest, you should be punished for that. It greatly effects the outcome and general quality of the game when someone leaves. Stay, finish the game, then meet up with your buddies, either that or don't start the game at all unless you know you will finish it.

I'm digging the vision board idea. I have a white board that i'm currently using for daily to-dos that would work perfectly. Goals are extremely important to have, big and small. You're definitely going about things the right way.
