Best shot at connectivity would be to require teams to play sanctioned games at 1-day driving distanced sites in multiple directions of their campus. Definitely seems moot if you can't have multiday travel tourneys in postseason though.

Harvard was 48th at end of regular season (59th in post-nationals final rankings). Dartmouth was 44th at end of regular season, 33rd post-natties.

Yes, my understanding is that direct communication between teams (a la the on-field call situation between opponents with direct dialogue) is very much encouraged and supported and facilitated by the spirit director connecting teams who are open and willing to engage with each others. It's only the broader public, non-participant discourse and uninvolved speculation about "bad blood" (or rivalry) that is not so much being facilitated; at least, that's my understanding without having had to ever do the job of spirit directing a tournament (yet).

Scores received from individual games are indeed shared, only the opponent names are not. You can contact Sarah Powers for rationale on that anonymity/privatization. Team captains that want more info from the giving team can connect with opposing teams thru Sarah.

No, the team giving scores is intentionally anonymized (the order is randomized). Team captains have to consent to sharing that level of detail with each other. Sarah Powers, spirit director, for the tournament is coordinating that for interested teams.

In the men's final, how did PoNY have 190 total player-points? Assuming the team totals would have been 15+12=27 points times 7 players per point = 189 points (what Revolver had total). If so, was a single injury sub for PoNY the difference? If so, I guess there's not a clean way to show a "full point" vs a "subbed-in/out point." Perhaps more interesting is how both mixed teams had 202 total player-points but a score of 15+14=29 points times 7 players per point equals 203.

Most college teams in the 00's would also play in the fall club series, happening not too far away from school often when the team was forming and looking for quality reps together. So it's conceivable that Brodie was a freshman on the fall '05 Florida roster as well as the spring '06 Florida roster, but a team mgr updated his status to sophomore on the '06 roster in the fall for the club series.
