I am an evil, sneaky, unethical, devil person. You apparently have never used bad judgement or broken a rule of etiquette. I am not a "liar". I am a user of Twitter and Twhirl, and anyone that takes tweets so seriously is doomed to be fooled once or twice by "liars" like me. As much as I may have usurped the identity of Mari for one second, you sir, have just slandered myself and my company in a public forum. You sir, are just as dispicible as me. Get a life.

Re: Retweet Hijacking - @MariSmith vs @CaptainLimos

I am the guy that hijacked her tweet. I have posted an apology on Mari's blog - a sincere one. You are right. It has nothing to do with terms of service, etc... It was originally done as just an experiment by me. I am kind of new to the whole Twitter arena, and I had no idea that so many people take this relatively unknown (about 75% of the population according to Sprint...) messaging service so seriously. Kind of a "get out of my clubhouse" moment. Anyhow, if I have offended everyone in the known universe, I am very very sorry. I will try to use better etiquette and judgment next time.

Re: CNN Reporter at Chicago Tea Party: It’s “Anti-CNN Since This is Highly Promoted By the Right-Wing, Conservative Network Fox” - TVNewser

Well, I just paid a disproportionate amount of my income for federal income taxes, so yeah, I am a little pissed. Would I openly attack a CNN reporter because of it with my 2 year old clutched in my arms? Um, probably not. I think I am going to the Dallas one - conservative rednecks decend on city hall. Delicious.

Re: VirtualBox VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (rc=-1908) Error

graphics card. slowwww

Re: VirtualBox VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (rc=-1908) Error

Randy! I did it! I am writing this message from my brand new install of Firefox that was included with my new install of Intrepid! I upgraded to a 2gb ram kit, got a new hard drive, and a new DVD burner. Worked like a charm. I already have Mplayer installed (for obvious reasons...), sound codecs for my amplified speakers, support for my laser mouse, and freakin drivers for my Nvidia card! I LOVE the new distro. It works out of the box in so many ways the previous versions didn't. I am super excited. I think the coolest thing so far (besides compiz) is that I can get 1200 resolution on my dinky little monitor. Lol, freakin sweet. However, next on the list is a nice new LCD. Thanks for hanging in there with me bro! Hope you are ready for some twitter action about this new linux. This is such a welcome break from Vista. -Josh

Re: VirtualBox VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (rc=-1908) Error

Still working on my Ubuntu install. It has been problem after problem - mostly because my box is so old. I did some clean-up on the stuff inside - screws, ribbons, fans, etc... Now I am waiting for my memory upgrade and hard drive to come in the mail. I noticed that my hard drive is missing a pin, and that the memory that I recently bought is not compatible with my chipset. Freakin awesome. SO, more memory stat and a new drive. Also bought a new DVD drive, so at least I can burn .iso's if need be. That should take care of everything. I can't wait to try some of the Windows cross-over filemanager apps they have out now. Photoshop+linux here I come.

Re: Tweak Out Your Ubuntu System

I'm still having issues getting Intrepid installed. Going to get some new junk for the PC this weekend, and I will try again. I have diagnosed the problem as improperly formatted .iso cd's burned on a Vista box and trying to use on an XP system. CD burner = fail, lol. Going to get some CD's this weekend and try again - along with some ram, new box upgrades and some other fun toys. I have really been looking forward to giving the new OS a spin. Of course, I am kind of addicted to the clean logical Ubuntu/GNU interface. I know that once I get it installed my CD burner will magically start working again. The irony!

Re: More Passionate Inspiration From Gary Vaynerchuk

Thanks for the reply. I have really enjoyed your site - glad I found someone who thinks along the same lines as I do. I actually had already checked that link out, and for some reason, every time I change my sources.list and try to upgrade, it knocks out my visual. I did however find a thing called Wubi, which allows an install of Ubuntu from Windows. I can install it from the windows install that I have at the house, then when it is installed and working, I can use LVPM (Ubuntu's partition manager) to wipe the windows install and just leave Ubuntu. Problem solved.

Re: More Passionate Inspiration From Gary Vaynerchuk

Amen - dude that is exactly right. Web branding is WORK! DUH! So many people need to embrace that. Great vid. BTW - I am attempting to get the new version of Ubuntu on my PC at the house. Running into a few issues already. 1. I had an old version (breezy) that I can't find upgrade repositories for anymore, and it keeps crashing my Xserver when I try to upgrade. So, all I get is command line. 2. My .iso cd of the new version that I burned from vista will not boot for some reason when I try to boot from the disk. SOULTION: I am installing XP again and upgrading from Wubby. Thx for the vid. Keep it real.

Re: Adding a Right-Click ‘Open With Adobe Photoshop’ Command In Ubuntu

That is fantastic. What is crossover? It has been a while since I used Ubuntu at the house. I had previously tried to install Photoshop using Wine, and it would always open the graphic that says it is loading, but the program would only work the one time and then after that would return errors. So, I gave up and went back to Win (ugh!). I had never heard of Crossover until now, so that is promising. I love the fexibility of the Gnome desktop, so I might try to switch back now. I have also been really impressed with the way that Linux handles Nvidea graphics (if you can get the driver installed). I am a full-time designer, so it is nice to see other people that can easily see the advantages that a Gnome environment has (file storage, security, graphics, etc...) as opposed to Windows or Mac for that matter. Thx for the vid.
