Basically they're shutting down the social features of GReader. They want to move them to G+, which pisses off all the heavy users who have built strong relationships inside the Reader ecosystem. All your Reader contacts are going to be erased.

As a GReader user for the last years, conversation is not going to be the same if it happens in G+, IMHO. Anyway, we'll have to wait and see what Google is planning, but it's annoying to have to use 2 separate services for something that up til now could be done with just one (reading RSS feeds and sharing them inside GReader).

I like your approach. But if you really want a radical move for a lifestream of links and posts that fade away quickly you should try to make your Twitter acount your tumblelog. Pictures with Twitpic, links shared with the title of the page they point to, text posts with twitlonger.

Yes, there's the conversation problem (maybe Twitwall could solve it) but on the other hand it has a much wider audience than Tumblr. I bet it will be your next step.

I'm using a Yahoo!Pipe to send all my Google Reader "shared with note" items to Tumblr, so that it looks like Gruber's "Daring Fireball": it creates a link post and the description is the "note" I write in the GReader post. Works well, maybe you can create a similar tool and add a personal comment to every link. Think of it as Twitter without the 140 char. limit.

Por cierto, una cosa más: Peter es la causa inicial de que los universos se autodestruyan. Por tanto, tiene que haber existido en algún punto.

A NO SER que los universos se autodestruyan independientemente de que él haya existido o no, con lo cual entonces sí que tendría sentido que su existencia tuviera el propósito de arreglar una situación inevitable.

Yo no obligo a nada, ojo, yo sólo digo que esto tiene cierto futuro si lo miras con buenos ojos. Obviamente, siempre estarán ahí los puristas de los 140 caracteres, pero a mí me gusta lo de tener un blog "deslocalizado". Lo intenté con Buzz pero no cuajó. ¿Quién sabe si Deck.ly consigue animar a la gente?

Probablemente algo con un móvil al que llama un desconocido que es un psicópata, rollo "Scream", o algo similar. :)

Pero ello no quita que la tecnología, como todo avance de la humanidad, nos ha quitado gran parte del misterio. También lo hizo la ciencia con la religión, claro.
