I started with the free 'Practical JavaScript' course and the first thing I noticed was just how strong the structure of the course was. Gordon's teaching style is to give you the fundamentals as a foundation and build on top of that. He adds a level of complexity EXACTLY when you need it. No sooner. No later. It's by far one of the best online JavaScript resources I have come across and I've used all of them. FreeCodeCamp, Codecademy, Code School, etc etc.... you name it, I've tried it.

The Premium Membership is a no-brainer. Going through the premium content can be summed up as "forced reinforcement". The program is full of opportunities to strengthen the connections you make while learning. I love it. You will too!

It's funny how many Android phones have come out in the last 12-18 months that still don't hold a candle to the iPhone 4, let alone the iPhone 4S. Yes, there are a couple great devices out there now (Galaxy S II) and coming out soon (Galaxy Nexus), but let's be honest... why does it take SO many phone iterations to compete with the iPhone's form and function?

I do remember when Apple was over $400. It was less than 2 weeks ago. Historically, Apple's stock has gone down during/right after their announcements. There shares go up before an announcement based on rumors, then when the products come out, the stock dips. The thing is, the stock goes UP afterwards when they announce sales and earnings.

Look at the stock of both Apple and RIM over the last year. Apple is up 33% and RIM is down 57%. RIM has lost more than HALF their value. You sent me to an article saying that RIM is beating Apple in the Indian market. Is that a surprise? Cheap phones do well in an emerging market? Come on. I'm sure RIM is enjoying those super high margins on those cheap phones.

Who gets free touch screens, cpus, and ram?

It will go down from now on? I can expect to see Apple at $0 in what, the next few months? They will sell millions of these phones and continue to make amazing margins on them.

Oh, spoiler alert. Stocks tend to go up and down throughout the day.

The app experience is WAY better in iOS. Developers take the extra effort to make the apps look stunning. I have yet to see that in the Android ecosystem.
