There are 2 options: everyone can create groups or only admins.

The owner of a group can then decide who will be part of it.

Does it make sense?

Re: How Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Affects SEO – Why it’s Important and How to Implement it

For each html page with an AMP alternate, you can add a `<link rel="amphtml" ... >` to let Google or other services know that you can serve an AMP version of that page. For this reason i don't think a `302 redirect` is necessary. Let me know what you think.

For those interested, here is an example: view source on https://minsh.com/community... to see the `<link rel="amphtml"... >` inside the `<head>` tag in action.

Re: So You Want to Integrate Messaging Into Your App

About messaging features, I thought I would add my input to the "build your own app" vendor options as I am working in this field. Indeed, as illustrated by Tsahi, one challenge is the significant development time and costs associated with creating your own app.

If you can afford the cost, the risk, and the delay you should do it as you will be able to control everything. However if you are a smaller organisation and do not want to commit such a high risk one option is use a custom solution like the one at https://minsh.com so that you can quickly and affordably test the field while maintaining your brand identity.

Re: How do the groups work? | Using your app | Minsh

Yes, in the latest release, users can go the group page and ask to join.

Re: A Study on Some Often Used Smartphone Messaging Apps

You should add a category for group messaging app with your own logo like the ones from https://minsh.com

Re: Nine+Ways+to+Build+Your+Own+Social%26nbsp%3BNetwork

Just sent you an email :)

Re: Strengthening the French connection

Remy is the best!

Re:

What about creating your own dedicated messaging app for your people? It then becomes super easy for your members to install your app on their iOS or Android device. And as and admin you can then reach your members anywhere thanks to push notifications. I have been working on this product and we had good results, have a look if you're interested:

https://minsh.com

Re: Setting Up SSL on AWS CloudFront and S3

Excellent tutorial! Just had one issue during the certificate upload with the certificate-chain parameter (Comodo certificate).

I got this error:

A client error (MalformedCertificate) occurred when calling the UploadServerCertificate operation: Unable to validate certificate chain. The certificate chain must start with the immediate signing certificate, followed by any intermediaries in order. The index within the chain of the invalid certificate is: -1

Here is the solution.

Comodo gives you a zip file with 4 files in it:

1. AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt
2. COMODORSAAddTrustCA.crt
3. COMODORSADomainValidationSecureServerCA.crt
4. <my-domain-name>.crt

You have to concatenate the files #3, #2, #1 together into a new file (do not include #4). Then give this file as parameter to certifcate-chain to make it work.

Re: The Next Silicon Valley

Being a swiss entrepreneur living in Bangalore, it's great to see the city climbing up the stairs of best place to do a startup.
