Wow, I enjoyed this post. My daughter is at a stage when she is starting t feel conscious of her appearance. I honestly find it hard to deal with it & on how to approach it as I often feel TV and school press more influence on her. But I sure am trying my best. Happy Easter!

Well you should never assume food will get cooked now that we are no longer kids & that since Y has done that all along, she'll continue doing it. Getting another help may just be the solution to alleviate Y's load as well. Think of it as a long overdue gift.

Lovely! Thanks for the head up as I do need the extra $ for winter uniforms! My daughter goes to public school and the cost of uniforms in a year is way more expensive than the actual school fees.

There should be baby shower games & prizes. Look it up, lots of fun game ideas in the net. Though you have to organize this very well as you have lots of guests. I suggest you draw out the names of the participants per each game in advance.

Just use the prams/strollers there that were barely used. Plus no need for expensive stroller as you will just be "strolling" within less than 100m anyway most of the time. Before you know it, Ashton will be walking & struggling to get off his pram.

Hello, you can still use anya's generic white clothes, bibs, booties, socks etc. baby boys can wear any colors kaya. so dig it all up! plus the bassinet, pram, chair, bed etc. lots of treasures there! i want to see baby ash wear them all!!
