Seriously Ive been laughing out loud at some of these responses...you guys are hilarious!

Ok, here's my three things!...

1. Bible
2. Journal
3. Grand Piano

So we had a lot of the same ideas!!!

I agree though - an inflatable raft, a tent, or a compass or flares would probably be wise though... so maybe I'd pack all of those things into the insides of the grandpiano!! But i think that's cheating : )

I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling this call to return to BEING with Jesus, above all else!

Anyone got any practical suggestions for being still in the midst of busy days and weeks? I'm trying to actually sit and be totally silent for 5 minutes each day just listening to God...and I want to increase it to 10 and more... but starting small seems more realistic : )

These are really cool answers! I'm reading them over a grande Americano and loving what you guys shared!

Here are mine:

1. Jeremiah is my favorite Bible character. He was called 'the prophet of tears' as he shared Gods heart so deeply that he was truly moved by what moved the heart of God. I'd ask him how I could be more sensitive and in tune to God's heart...

2.John the Beloved disciple was basically Jesus' best friend. I'd ask him to describe, as only a best friend could, what Jesus was truly like; what made him crack up with laughter, what his favorite meals were... I'd just love to say "tell me about Jesus as you know him"

Between Jeremiah and John (who I think were kind of the Old and New Testament version of each other....) I think I'd get some seriously inspiring insight into the heart of our amazing triune God : )

Mandy - Amos was totally the other verse I was going to quote if I hadnt used the Isaiah one, so we are totally on the same wavelength about what the bible says on this topic!

Jonathan - DANCE PRAISE?! That is awesome!! I love that game.. i did a DP contest between me and bethany dillon at a festival a year or two ago..pretty humilating but also hilarious!

Liz - the conference sounds amazing!

I'm at the studio today working on a new song...got here at 9am which for me is EARLY so i'm feeling proud of my exploits!!!

Linz - praying for you... and believing that God is in control...I know its easy to hear trite Christian statements like "God is in control" but I truly believe He is... hang in there girl...And we are all here for you : )

Guys - I'm totally smiling about all the "is there life after 30" chat! I'm 28 and definitely a bit afraid of 30...definitely agree with Nathan's thing about approaching 30 being a time of reflecting on dreams and where I'm at in life...

Well... time for bed... its been a great day...handed 12 new song demos into EMI record label today... having a day off tomoro to CHILL!!!

These are great!! You guys are a seriously inspired bunch... I'm so glad to be in community with you here!

I think if I could sum up my life vision in one sentence it would be... "To be fully God's". I think once a person fully belongs to God completely, everything He wills for their life naturally happens, and they reflect and obey Him in all they do...

I am FAR from being there...but as Paul says "I press on to lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me!"

I go crazy without "me time"! I think introverts like me need it especially!

Usually I try and get outside, to remember there's more to life than airports, planes and buildings & to remember there's a huge, beautiful world out there waiting to be discovered!

Thanks for this Blog - a good reminder to make outdoors "me time" a priority this week...sometimes it feels selfish, but ultimately we will love others better if we make sure our own hearts are refreshed and filled up, ready to pour out.

These comments are great... Always fun to talk about favorite Bible books! Well I made it back from Kentucky and the SHE show last night and am catching up on Blogging!

The T5 was only a loan guitar... so I dont have it anymore... the Variax seems to have a lot more features..especially the alternative tuning ability.. so I'm excited to figure it out!!

These are great... I am feeling challenged to be daring!! And I did look at a MacBookAir today...but I think I might find it a bit too modern and experimental, not to mention expensive!! I think I'm going to get a refurbished one... But thanks for the idea - I will relook at the Airs before I make a final choice!!
