Actually, it makes sense to end it here... but just not satisfying. I want more! The way Adachi makes you read between the lines is good and all, but I personally would have preferred a concrete climax - actually say he hit 160 for god's sake!

Ah well, it was a pretty sweet ending nonetheless.

Heh, yeah, exactly because I don't know what to expect. But that also means that I'll be able to be surprised more.

and I didn't mean that the plot or characters or art was going to be similar to hatsukoi. I meant in that I thought it was going to have many protagonists in it.

I'm hoping to be surprised by this!

Having not read the manga, I had thought that it was going to be similar to Hatsukoi Limited in that there were going to be many protagonists, since the first ep seemed very much to be a conclusion to me. Guess I was wrong.

The art was alright, although there are places where I really wish it was a bit better (especially the disproportionate faces.. and I'm not talking about the caricature faces, I'm talking about the "normal" faces).

Overall, I'm pretty hooked onto this, even though I'm not a girl. Not sure whether this is going to be the best this season though, as there are lots of competition. This will have to at least beat the quality of Skip Beat and come close to Toradora in order to be the best this season. Going to have to wait until much later (ie, after this season) before a decision can be made. Some of the competition include:

Tegami Bachi - Seems a lot of people are interested in this; the first ep was not great imo. Depending on how they develop the plot it will either be very interesting or very boring.

Kobato - can't go wrong with CLAMP. The first ep was excellent too. Try it, you might come to like it more than Kimi ni Todoke.

Darker Than Black 2 - Action, superpowers, dark, you might not like it but I really liked the first season. I'm pretty biased towards this, but it doesn't appeal to everyone.

Kuuchuu Buranko AKA Trapeze - Noitamina, but I heard it's anime/live action hybrid, so it'll be interesting, I wonder how it's going to play out.

Railgun - I'm also biased towards anything from Gakuen Toshi. Man I want to live there... And seeing as how they went off the manga for Index, I wouldn't be surprised if J.C. Studio started a completely new storyline for this, although they're following the manga so far. If they got creative in the last few episodes and really wrapped the 2 series up, then this will really become the best imo for this season. Otherwise if they just follow the manga and thus leave it hanging, I'll be very depressed. lol

Haha, a bit too late, the deadline for the resume and cover letter were this morning.

But, guess what?! I got the interview! Here's hoping that it goes well!

Oh, and guess what? Valkyria doesn't fit under the otaku style of anime. In fact, I personally enjoy anime with plot more than anime with ecchi. That's why I enjoy stuff like skip beat, kodomo no omocha, clannad, GTO, MxO, Conan, Bakuman etc just to name a few. I seriously think you will enjoy Valkyria.

That said, I really loved Cross Game too, it's just that by the 4th episode I got way too impatient with the pace and marathon'd the manga. lol.

Random dude replying cuz I'm bored.

You mean to say you didn't watch Valkyria Chronicals? Go watch it right now. And yeah, you're missing out on Tokyo Magnitude 8 and ... well Taishou's OK, but so far not much action. But at least the pace is a bit faster than Cross Game (I completely got frustrated of how slow it's going and just jumped to the manga, which incidentally is even slower...)

But yeah, looking forwards to biribiri, and Shana's on my todo list, and it seems like Kimi Ni Todoke is quite interesting... so is Kuchu Buranko, but otherwise there doesn't seem to be much this season, lots of sequels. Of course, there might be some surprises.

And, biribiri's completely unrelated to Index, and imo the manga was pretty... pointless. Of course, there's lots of exciting battle moments, and Index didn't really completely follow the manga, so who knows, JC please do a good job.

But if you're just going to add one more to your to-do list, add Valkyria Chronicals. Doesn't matter what genre you like/dislike, you'll like this.

Andy just sent me his part 4, I am incorporating it now
I'm almost done part 5 - 1 minute left... happens to be the last minute... the finale.... and it is annoying to transcribe..
so Amzy i'm waiting for your part 3 xD

Andy's not repying, nor is he sending the part 4 file to me :S so I don't actually know whether he's done or not.
