I'm amazed at this. They appear (it's hard to tell with the blur) to be barefoot, and are all wearing things most folks would wear to a casual business environment.... Amazing at how far running technology has (unnecessarily) come in 200+ years.

Hey Nate! No, I'm not being sarcastic at all. I just can't see Apple continue to fragment their iPhone product line in two, affecting the supply chain, stock level management and customer service. One iPhone that works on all networks wins.

The Verizon iPhone and iPad were quick fixes; they're dealing with this short term limitation to get onto Apple's favorite cellular network.

My only comment is that I filter out what I know I won't like in the process of skimming their reviews. I am able to focus down and find those records that will appeal to me in all the noise of their daily offerings.

Why?'s "Eskimo Snow" record from last year is one that still haunts me no matter how many times I play it. This year's Menomena ("Mines") is growing on me and will probably end up in that "worn out" way you referred to...

Several months back we went to Ikea and got a desk attachment for our bookcase, which you can see in the photo. I love how it turned out!

I'm hoping these Apple iDisk music rumors will grow into something useable; that, or a good Dropbox solution like you mentioned. 50GB for $10 isn't bad, but it doesn't blow me away either....

Agreed, I've looked for it twice already! I think my Rdio strategy is going to be: Load my iPhone up with everything that's not on Rdio.

I think this is something being overlooked... go try it with an iTunes web preview. You can access those files, too. Just thirty seconds but still - it's wide open.

I'm just thinking there's not an easy way inside of HTML5 to cover your tracks, so to speak.

Exactly, Beau... Not the same, but I've read books on my iPhone in a much shorter span than I would a paper book. I think, honestly, it's the portability factor.

The ability to read two or three pages on a train or while waiting in line are just crucial; it's just not practical to haul around and then pull out a book during those short times.

Nah, he's acknowledging the problem but he's dealing with it as it should -- it's not a huge deal, honestly.
