The Rushpubliscum Party is the party of angry, stupid old white men, and the women that blindly follow along. Their present "fiscal cliff" tack suggests that they will not change, because they cannot change. They are hoping for gerrymandering to allow them to hold on long enough to finish implementing their 14th century agenda. That hope is doomed, but we're not talking about a genius league here.

I'm thinking 2010 taught a LOT of people a lesson that they won't soon forget. Unfortunately, the reapportionment issue leaves us with an uphill struggle to flush the rest of the scum out. That's what happens when we don't vote.

We will either begin to implement policies leading us in a different direction or we will collapse. I believe a Willard win brings our collapse and implosion to within 4 years. My hope is that if the President is unshackled by another election cycle, we might actually begin to see a movement in the correct direction, and forestall our collapse.

Either way, if you're living in Redneckistan right now, my advice is to MOVE. Before you need a passport to do it, or have to crawl under a concertina-wire barricade.
