More original content. Is there someone there working on building a network and submitting stories to digg/reddit/etc.? Their online advertisement system seems inadequate (or worse, manual).

Re: Urban Jacksonville Turns 5 Today

Isn't that 4 years? By the way, definitely follow the tribune SEO director @brentdpayne on twitter.

Re: The Fate of The Florida-Times Union and 5 Ways It Can Revive Itself

jax dot com need to be redesigned by someone that knows SEO and realizes the huge impact it can have on the site. They need to figure out how to monitze it better than obtrusive peel-down ads and taking classified ads and porting them to the web. There are newspaper sites and online newspaper sites doing very well. It can be done. Crap, tell me huffpo isn't successful. They're doing it right.

Re: A Brief History Of Social Media

Don't forget about Usenet.

Re: Sponsor IM Spring Break Road Trip aka SEO’s Gone Wild!

I'll sponsor a round of drinks when you guys stop in jacksonville, fl. you're stopping in jacksonville, fl, right?

Re: IM Spring Break Reduced Price

I wish that I could go!

Re: Dyal-Upchurch Building sells for $100.00 at Auction

Saw the auction notice here:

http://jacksonville.bizjour...

Re: City of Jacksonville May Halt Recycling (And Five Reasons Why It Shouldn’t)

I agree with Janine. It was the same way for me back on Long Island. You pay $ for special green bags for trash, I think they were $1 per bag. All trash had to be put in those bags (except yard waste). You could recycle all you wanted for free - which in turn promoted recycling, and sale of bags generated income for the city.

Re: ScarySEO: Top 10 Funniest Things That Happened

hey, those weren't russians, they were italians.
