This would be a great time saving feature as not many want comments on their PAGES, only POSTS.

'Closing' comments is not the same as 'removing' the feature entirely from the PAGE.

Re: ambivalence

Sounds like a great place to work. All companies can learn from this example: people are the foundation of all productivity.

Re: Glide Engage: It’s Twitter, But With 1,400 Characters

How is this different that Google Reader or just having a Blog?

Re: Sponsored Posts Microsyntax: AD Better Than #ad

Stowe, I second the idea of 'AD' at the start of a post, like a RT. It follows tradition of the RT, and makes it very clear and obvious that it's a paid tweet. I also agree it should not be a hashtag, as those are used for categorizing topics, where is this is a whole new classification of tweet.

It is important that this standard develops early because sponsored tweets are coming soon, whether we like it or not, and this convention will allow us to filter them easier and put control in each individual user. I can see twitter apps soon have a setting to filter out ADs, based on microsyntax.

Re: Microsyntax.org: A Messifesto

Stowe, this is great work! There is a huge opportunity for more structured Twitter data. Reminds me that the Internet is 'human powered', literally.

I'm founder of OpenBrands and we're working with Microsyntax in Brands discussions. Our first initiative is encouraging the use of hashtags for intentionally talking with and about Brands. We call them 'brandtags'. For some companies, like #Apple, it really helps to follow a brand discussion.

We eventually see a currency and rating system emerging for discussing brand sentiment.

Let us know how we can help.
