I thought there was a zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol when playing sports? Hey look at it this way at least he didn't get sent home for being overweight........drunk driving must be ok at NAHS but god forbid your over weight in NA.

What right does the state or any government have to tell an individual when they can open their own business? Remember the Catholic Church was in favor of this not for the worker to have a day off but to allow their buildings to be filled on Sunday. What happened to separation of church and state on this issue? Ya gotta love the Catholic Church....Bernie Law didn't think buying a bottle of beer was ok on Sunday but raping boys in the rectory.........no problem here....move along!

I happened to drive by these three the other day while I was in Haverhill, AKA Lawrence with land, and thought there are three folks who don't live in the neighborhood. They are "outraged" by someone expressing an opinion, which of course they don't hold and call it hateful. What they should be outraged at is the drug dealing they were standing around, the misuse of money to support welfare to folks unwilling to work or receiving a monthly "crazy check" in the mail but nope can't do that. How un PC of me to suggest such a thing? Get these PC police and tell them to walk about 100 yards to the bridge and take a leap int the Merrimack and realize the diversity road is a two way street. It's called freedom of speech.

I grew up on Prospect Hill back in the 60's. What a great neighborhood it was and I do mean was. Ridge Rd. was one of the nicest streets in the city. Now it's become no different than Park St. or Broadway. I remember hearing the adults way
back in the early 70's fearing Lawrence would become a city full of drugs, crime and people on public relief. Here we are in 2012. I guess their fears are now reality.
