The Kona School will be located on Kona Skatepark property in the Arlington/Regency area

2. The target launch date for the school is Fall 2012. Additional funding could definitely speed up that timeline.

3. The Kona School will be grades 9-12

Re: Joining Forces With One Spark To Develop Innovation In Jacksonville

Hopefully we can prove you wrong and disavow you of the notion that we are simply spinning our wheels and patting each other on the back.

Please give our movement some time to develop before making judgements of what we are doing and predictions of outcomes. We encourage you to participate and help us shape this into something meaningful.

If you want to help, head over to http://beonespark.com/get-i... to get involved.

Re: Joining Forces With One Spark To Develop Innovation In Jacksonville

You'll be hearing from me soon.

Re: Joining Forces With One Spark To Develop Innovation In Jacksonville

Thanks dad!

Re: So Long Wingard Creative

Thanks Allan! I wish we could move into the Hendricks Elementary district, but selling our house between now and when school starts seems like a pipe dream, unless you know a work around :-)

I do appreciate your view and school size is definitely a factor that is weighing heavily in our current thinking process. That is subject to change of course...

Re: Brain Drain and Freight Trains: Graffiti and Jacksonville’s Creative Exodus

Head to 5 Points. When I started the blog 6 years ago I had no idea where it would end up. I'm pretty happy with where it is now and I'm sorry it lacks some of the things that first attracted you to Urban Jacksonville.

I hope you'll keep me in your feed reader and continue to follow the blog. I can't make everyone happy anymore so I just focus on making myself happy.

There are plenty of places you can find out what's going on around downtown. Twitter and Facebook provide more than enough things to do on a weekly basis. For me to continue posting those things would be a massive duplication of effort. Especially since there is the always informative jaxscene.info

Maybe you can come to the live show at Underbelly in 5 Points on Thursday. I think you might enjoy it. Please come introduce yourself. I'll buy you a beer and we can reminisce about the way Urban Jacksonville used to be :-)

Re: Urban Jacksonville Mixtape #16

Tight track Chris.
