very funny post! i love it when a phone salesman calls asking for Edward or Eleanor Fisher. I just tell them..."they're dead" Resulting in either dead air or frantic backpedaling. In any case, hilarity ensues.;-)

I've made a few purchases from tiger direct, mostly positive experiences.

Newegg is the "darling" of techies, but honestly Tiger Direct has some good deals and *excellent* customer service.

Kit. I don't think that TigerDirect is the only company that purchased email lists for spam.

Also, referring to your wordpress post yesterday, I've been finding the sidebar irritatingly slow to load. The main blog page loads speedy quick, but I have to wait for the sidebar (with it's forum button) to load.

I'm sort of annoyed by the rise of videos in the popular medium, example: cnn.com

I often browse pages at school where I can't have speakers broadcasting, and I don't want to use headphones since they tend to cut off ambient noise, I need to hear things.

Yeah, my foot where I had the bone spur taken off is healing nicely. I guess it is anyway, I have a boot on that I have to leave on 24/7. Takes me several hours to take a shower, what with sealing it up so the water won't get in the boot, etc.
I'm feeling better after my fever over Christmas, thanks for asking.:-))

However, one had to know to go and look at the sticky in the software help section.
I wonder if a link to the sticky might have been more helpful, just a link to the forums is, at first glance for a newbie, rather overwhelming.

The thing that I think about, *every* time I see a new "messiah car", is **how are we going to make the fuel***what are the hidden costs***?
What I mean is , what good is a wonderful green car if it takes freaking coal fired power plant to make all that wonderful electricity for it to run on?
What good is a clean hybrid if the area where the batteries are made is turned into a wasteland because of the battery making byproducts,

Biodiesel (which I used to use a lot ) has to be made from something. Tell me how it helps us if it takes the food out of our mouths to make the fuel?
I still think that Biodiesel is the best of the alternative fuels <<if and="" only="" if="">> we get to the point where we can make biodiesel from algae ore something like that.

odd, I'm running FF 3.0.4 here, with 7 tabs open, as well as running some graphics conversion stuff, FF isn't using all that much memory.

Interesting adondai, you say that you plan to buy it knowing almost nothing about what the final product will look like? Remember all the promise that Vista showed long before it was released, things like a new file system, etc...

Why is this written as though Windows 7 is on the horizon, it's still vaporware as far as I can tell. Christmas 09 is a year away, but even notwithstanding that, when has MS ***ever*** been on time or early to market with a product?
