I cracked up when your dad said, "Hi Alison, I didn't see you there." Excellent! He's so funny.

Boiling beef bones for 10 hours! Wow - I think spending 10 minutes to warm up some soup takes too long.

Good for you going for a bike ride, Alison! I was going to get my bike out this year but haven't done it yet. Maybe tomorrow we'll see you tackle a half-pipe on a skateboard!! You'll definitely need a helmet for that.

Wow Alison, that was really great! It might even be my favorite Daily Alison ever. I think it is!

The opening was really funny (who's trombone is that???) Tobey is SO cute! And it's fun seeing your home and your room. I'm sure your dad will be in an upcoming show too -- that will be fun!

I'm really looking forward to more of your vlogs from California!

I think a Q&A every so often would be good, but I like the guests too. Should we tell you which guests we like the most so you can invite them back? The vlogs from California shoud be fun - I'm looking forward to those.

A couple of weeks ago I was fooling around online and I watched some of the videos that you and Anna did last January and February. It brought back some great memories of watching them the first time, back when it was so cold and dreary here in Vermont. I'd love to see you do more videos like that.

Don't any of the people going to the BBQ own a TV? Why should Alison give up her TV on a Sunday so other people can watch it? No way! And who watches TV at a BBQ anyway?

And obviously toilet paper should go OVER the rolll because the toilet paper with printed designs only show the designs when the paper is going OVER the roll. I know that because my mother worked at a Kimberly-Clark factory for many years. Ask me ANY question about paper products. ANY question. Go ahead, ask me....

I've never watched anything on the Food Network, but it's one of the channels I happily pay for every month even though it provides me with no entertainment value whatsoever.

It sounds like you're having a mini technology breakdown, Alison. I had one of those about a year ago. I started having trouble with my phone, my toaster oven stopped working and I got a serious virus on my PC - all in the space of a couple of days. The virus happened because for some reason the Computer Associates anti-virus software I use started blocking Windows Updates, which usually run automatically. My system soon became vulnerable and it picked up a virus. It took almost a week of phone call with a CA technician in India to get it fixed - fun fun!

Your dad is so great! Vegetable baseball - pretty awesome. You would think with 6 kids in my family we would have gotten around to that, but we never did. In fact, Mom was always telling us, "Don't play with your food!" Mom didn't have a very vivid imagination (which probably is a result of having 6 kids).

It's been very rainy in the Northeast. I recently read this online:

According to Long Range (weather) Expert Joe Bastardi, areas from the northern Plains into the Northeast will have a "year without a summer." The jet stream, which is suppressed abnormally south this spring, is also suppressing the number of thunderstorms that can form.

Damn that jet stream!
