My initiation into public service was that of a tall, insistent individual who always had government transparency and public interest in mind. He taught us that public policy needed to always consider the little guy. For myself, even after Jerome could no longer attend public hearings, I never had to turn around and look for him, I knew he was there. Jerome, thanks for the insight and advice.<br>Jerome once recited to me his experiences in France during the war.
