now THATS fucked up. Wether or not you believe in the dude.. have respect for the artist who spend weeks if not months on the statue, and the money the church spent on it. I can't wait until I read one of these about an attempted statue vandal who is found by police after he is pinned benieth the thing.

I think he should have taken the consistancy of the "missiles" into consideration. Totatoes= funny.. think Fozzie Bear. They will explode and cast tomato boogers upon the target. Bananas= funny. Not for nothing, I love this blog.
I don't even live in the area, but enjoy reading about the rediculous things that go on in the area (reminds me of "John Bell's stupid News" on Z100, except with the author's own comments added in (often to point out irony)).

The "kids" (young adults) made rookie drinking mistakes (noise and poor parking) and overall poor taste in beer. When people get caught doing something stupid, why not have a chuckle about it. Its understood that most if not all of the posters on here are the kids themselves or their parents (probably found the site by googling their names and "drinking" to see if their citations had his the net) and you're sore on the subject. I'm not going to knock your actions of parenting (because I did the same thing, and I have great parents). Just a) don't blame the police for making you obey the law. Its their job, and they do it for our safety. b) don't blame the author of the site for pointing it out (especially when 1/2 his commentary had to do with their poor beer selection).

Own up to your mistakes, learn from them, and move on. You live and you learn.
