However, I think you've misunderstood the point of providing alternative text. Alternative text for an image should describe the image itself - this technique would result in all images simply describing as the post that they're embedded in. While this could occasionally result in a reasonable alt attribute, it would be purely coincidental.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The media library already has a field for adding an image alt attribute, and it would be vastly preferable if the plug-in had an option to auto fill alt attributes with the image alt attribute field.  I appreciate that updating your images in the media library doesn't update usages of that image in your site, and updating each individual post is a pain - however, adding the post title as an alt attribute does not help anybody.
