You don't know me yet you feel free to pile on ad hominem like charging me with being an ignorant woman hater. In fact, Harvey Weinstein is my political enemy so no one with my politics has any reason to defend him. But I'm utterly opposed to trial by mob rule or media frenzy.

That's my sole concern.

If touching a woman's breast without her consent is a crime, no one could safely ride the New York City subway, where it happens every day. No TSA agent could perform a pat-down without it being a crime. No woman being arrested could be frisked for a weapon. But conceding your point, it's not rape; it's simple assault, and likely charged as no more than a misdemeanor. So, no, that tape -- with a woman who would not even be there were she not working for the police to entrap Harvey Weinstein -- is not nearly enough for those jumping on the Weinstein witch hunt bandwagon,.

I am the type that doesn't convict on the sole basis of accusation. There has to be evidence, a trial, proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Of course today both conservatives and liberals would be at home in 1692 Salem.

The rioting that shut down Milo Yiannopoulos's speech at UC Berkeley may
signal that free speech needs to use current technology to bypass
fascist intolerance.

Instead of physical speakers before a physical audience in a brick-and-mortar venue, a YouTube, Facebook, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, Showtime, DirecTV Pay Per View or other digital venue prevents the gathering of rioters to disrupt the speech.

If there's no physical place to gather, there's no physical place to riot.
