Can't agree more as someone who is actively hiring for sales and biz dev positions @outbrain in NYC. I have seen many faces, and it's amazing how many people don't pitch me on the actual job and how they will specifically kick ass in developing new business for our specific company. I get a lot of general stuff that's just noise. I would rather have someone come in with a biz plan on how they will attack our prospects over resumes from a grad school program. Great post. Wish more who really want to work at startups would find this first. I'll RT it as well. Hat tip to @choref81 for the discovery link on Twitter.

Thanks for the post Andrew! You hit the nail on the head as we are trying to forge new ground here with an advertising medium that is useful to the reader, effective for the marketer and complimentary for the publisher (basically moving away from crappy display ads like teeth whitener / lose weight in 5 minutes etc.).

Great post here my friend! Your visual compilation of images is simply awesome. Great posts like this are the key to winning this battle and increasing awareness. The ground effort must take over as the policy makers are not fulfilling their posts. Voices like yours are the new currency in the fight to save the bluefin and absolute proof that everyday people & bloggers ;) can make a difference.

Great idea here. Given the lackluster performances put on by gym goers who are lulled into a routine while watching CNN, this is an upgrade.

What I would suggest is an iphone/mobile app that you can input into the machine so you can take your "experience" on the go. This would allow for greater personalization and even the opportunity to push relevant content back out to the user if they opt in.
