Good calls on Thrice and Thursday, although I think I'm gonna go with Illusion of Safety and Full Collapse... probably because those were the first albums I heard from each of those bands.

False. The contrast between Karen O's oblivious dancing and the kids is genius. The fact that this was their response to everyone falling in love with "Maps" makes it even better. You had a whole bunch of teenage girls following you for a song that is tamer than anything else you've ever written, so you follow it up with a music video like this.

This video is so creative. Sure, it's creepy, but that's what makes it so great! It matches the eeriness of the song perfectly. This song is raw power packed into three in a half minutes. The video has the exact same chaos to make it feel so visceral.

I also love how all of the little vignettes have their own story, yet they perfectly collapse back into one chaotic party at the beginning and end.

Alright, so I'll take back some of my statements. After like an hour of wasted coverage, the storm finally started getting serious. At that point, they used their weather helicopter to get live footage of a tornado on the ground. You could even see when it went across power lines and the transformers exploded.

The weather guy still sucks, but the helicopter pilot is a man among men.

I agree. I listen to all of my music through my home theater system, and I am far too lazy to dock that with my laptop once a week to catch all of my songs played, therefore no last.fm for me lately.
