what awful baseball etiquette. also, i think this was an arizona at houston game, not st. louis. because reports say d'backs announcers (yes, the visiting team -- daron sutton & mark grace) ended up going down and giving that girl a signed baseball.

you're welcome. i'm not exactly sure what it was that i liked about it (the most), to compel me to actually hit the *like* button... (i'm not one of those people that *like* anything and everything)... i guess first it was the bear... and then i noticed it was in an empty head... on top of a suit. and then before i even read the caption i thought to myself, "ahh, bear in mind..." and your title verified it for me... so i had a little laugh.

i don't really know much about graphic art, because as you can see -- i just take pictures with a machine that some other person invented... but i know what i like... if nothing else, it seems to me -- you have quite an imagination. which to me, is one of the fundamentals in being an artist.

keep pushing things out, sooner or later, more people will start to notice. not everyone's going to like your stuff, but not everyone's gonna hate it either.

and you noticed the bean, good eye. those pictures are tiny. i was trying to take a picture of a handprint. my hometown, chicago. that whole park was built (including the bean) after i moved (over 8 years ago!)... but i go back as often as i can.

yea, i mean, i'm definitely not writing off new media - it makes sense and i'm sure a LOT of people check that stuff out... and it's always nice to have a place on the web to have samples of your stuff to have people check out... but as much time as i spend on the internet, i just don't have the energy to be clicking around mainly because there's just SOOOOOO much music out there. now i'm curious myself about this subject matter and am going to be asking people at work tonight what they think. i'll get back to you on this one.

although i have many artist friends (in every sense of the word) - i myself know nothing about the subject, particularly the business aspect. however, as a consumer and lover of music - when it comes to what you refer to as "new media" - i rarely check out music blogs and whatever else is out there. for me, it is, always has been and probably will always be - a word of mouth type deal. if you're shit's good - and you're wiling to put yourself out there, passionate fans can take you a long way. but again, i know nothing about the subject. so... good luck! :D

i live right by there and i've been in a couple times for a quick drink, nothing to write home about, but - not the worst place to down a beverage either. i wasn't aware that it was trust-fund kids but DAMN there a lot of hipsters there. williamsburg is pushing them out to the cusps! evidently "our bar" on meeker and graham is the cat's meow.

i love the comments from the phillies fans. the overall disgust and express of embarrassment they have towards this kind of behavior coming from a fan of their reigning champion franchise. it helps me feel as though baseball is still alive. there's nothing worse than a drunk heckler (read: idiot) at a baseball game.

my general manager is also a fan so he incorporates hell's kitchen quick fires into our pre-shift meetings. like, the other day we had to taste our soup special and list the ingredients. last one standing gets a prize. it's great.

i guess i meant more of NFL, i've been to a couple college games in illinois, but never any professional football. i've since learned that boiled/cooked cauliflower, not so bad. however, broccoli rules over cauliflower any day. and as far as owning property, yea - i dunno. maybe i'll just rent for life.
