Case and point, I am GS-7 and have the most IT experience but I am still at the lowest grade just because I haven't been there for years upon years. A private sector company called me and I interviewed and pay wise the increase would put me at the GS-11 without the wait and would also be better education wise. The federal government needs to compete hopefully they'll be able to in the near future.</p>jjones83Wed, 12 Aug 2009 15:09:18 -0000
