To me, Paul didn't write ads. Paul read people. He took time with them. Got to know them. And because of that, he said something to them that mattered. Sometimes he said it to many through an ad. Sometimes he said it to a friend walking down a hallway. But whatever he said, however he said it, it mattered. And we remembered it.
