I've thought about it for sure and I appreciate the kind words and memories! I wish I had the time to give the movies their proper attention, but I don't really. I do miss it. I thought AVATAR 2 was almost as good as the first, but the thing I missed from the first was the proportional difference between the Navi and humans. I found it fascinating especially when Neytiri saved Jake from suffocating. We saw it briefly in A2 with some battle scenes, but not enough in my estimation. That's just me. The HFR was superb. Loved it. How about you?

I should, shouldn't I? Tell you what, I'll ping my old sources and see if they are still connected. If they have anything then I'll start posting again.

There hasn't been any company sponsorship available for 3D news in years so I've had to spend my free time doing other things.

But you're right, I love the AVATAR universe and obviously really looking forward to the upcoming movies. Jon Landau has been doing an excellent series on the individual creative talents that are connected to the movies. Have you seen them?

Hey I`m good!

Yeah I`ll be posting shortly! AVATAR sequels are definitely the top tier tech movies coming out. I`ve seen THE MANDALORIAN a couple of times already (first season at least) and they certainly nailed it. Loved everything about it. It goes without saying Favreau is one of my fav directors as well. He`s a beast.

PS5 is going to rock no doubt about it - now if they finally put in a 4K player in the thing I would buy it for myself! I`ve been buying XBOX because of that sole reason (currently have the XBOX ONE X) but I get my son the PS lineup.

To the best of my knowledge, it was planned for a 3D conversion, but it was canceled. If I hear more about it, I'll pass it on.

Agreed J. ALITA is an awesome movie. Sure, there are elements in there that I would have loved to see Cameron's touch on and some things that he never would have allowed if he was directing, BUT, Cameron's vision is there overall and his DNA. It's a quality Lightstorm production. Landau always delivers too. Way to go guys!

I think Cameron fans will go see it. It may not get the repeat customers that a Cameron directed movie gets, but his DNA is all over this thing. :-) Glad you liked it!

I wouldn't be surprised either. However, I think the release timing is based heavily on the story as well. Although Cameron hasn't done this prior, what if there was some sort of cliffhanger ending for AVATAR 2, or if they would like to match the pacing of the story with the release of the movies? I know they have said each story can stand on their own, but there may be a story reason to speed up the release of 3.

Weta's advantage lies in being able to stand on their previous work with apes. They don't have to reinvent the wheel every time around. Their apes are extremely special now!

We'll see on the titles - I don't really like those either. Cameron usually nails his titles though - short and sweet. I have confidence in him to make the right choices!
