Great all-around tips, Jessica, particularly #9 about photographing how something feels versus social media imitation. That's where a lot of new photographers get hung-up and lack the confidence to go with what feels right to him or her.

Very good point and well stated Michael. Customer-driven content is of primary importance versus trying to please everyone. A lesson I'm still learning, but I'm getting there.

The social need to build a friends list on Facebook, for both personal and fan pages, is a lot like the false sense of success that comes from building # of hits on a normal web site.

Quality trumps quantity, every time.
