(re: as potroast mentioned above, "getting the big scoop" by getting their tweet all over the big media outlets). these are all checks and balances that need to take place before the story spreads. i believe that when such a crisis occurs as in the Iran situation, we are ALL obligated to do a little homework before we blast that RT off. it only takes 60 seconds. the MSM has more of a responsibility, especially when we are their main source. i sympathize with CNN for getting beat up over the last 2 weeks for not getting this stuff out fast enough, but it is a lot to handle and this is new to them. they realize how important it is to get it right. and they will. some of the thoughts in this post are very unnerving. the producers at CNN, and all the other major media outlets for that matter, should be listening very carefully to all this. after all, a well orchestrated display of 'social hacking' could very easily slip through the cracks if, at the end- is up to a team of TV producers.

Re: jimblr

see me as a Lolz http://is.gd/18RC6

Re: Jim Halligan vs. Jim Halligan

thanks!

Re: Duplicate Content in Wordpress

a year is a long time. seems about right. link?

Re: Latitude Kinda Sucks

yes, but would you know they were at a bar- or just on that block? have you tried brightkite? its much better for knowing 'exactly' where your friends are- takes guessing out of the equation...

Re: Duplicate Content in Wordpress

yes, traffic is absolutely a factor

-original message-
Subject: [jimhalligan] Re: Duplicate Content in Wordpress

Re: Video Thumbnail in Google Search Results

heres the link: http://ff.im/pfpY

-original message-
Subject: [jimhalligan] Re: Video Thumbnail in Google Search Results

Re: Video Thumbnail in Google Search Results

my pleasure. you know after i heard robert scoble talk about this on friendfeed last week, the thumbnails seem to have disapeared. i should do an update. thanks for the reminder.

-original message-
Subject: [jimhalligan] Re: Video Thumbnail in Google Search Results

Re: Brand &
