There really wasn't that much water...until I got in! We have a soft countertop thing for simple baths and it's been great (Thanks Gilda!). The bather in these pics was given to us, not registered for and I couldn't find where to return it. We have a hard plastic one (hand-me-down, Thanks Marisa!), it's just still in Tampa. She gets a washcloth to the face daily, while the baths are less frequent. She's not a dirty girl, unless the squirtboob gets loose.

Monstrous, I KNOW! I kept trying to keep them well covered, but the water kept the tank weighed down. These bad boys have taken on a life of their own...but are proving their worth when you see Abigail's new little rolls. :)

I wasn't planning on getting in, it wasn't easy sitting next to the tub and keeping her in place. The bottom half of the little bather kept folding up. Remember, Abigail is a squirmy little thing. Squirmy + Wet = Not Safe, it was so much easier/safer being on her level.

That's hilarious! I'm sure Matt will look back and say the same thing about Abigail. He was so glad she was "hosed" off before he held her.

Before I continued reading about the goose egg, I completely visioned Chase knocking you out with a toy.

Matt, your label "presidential inauguration obama" has us getting some worldwide traffic! Athens, Attiki, Greece. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Tromso, Troms, Norway. Then there's been Worcester, Mass (Emily, was that you?) and Ann Arbor, MI (Elena?). Even traffic from Texas, Ohio and Arizona...don't know who they might be. Welcome everyone, regardless of how you may have found us...even though I'd love to know!

Mine is the Maya Wrap Ring Sling from www.TheSlingStation.com. I really like it, it's very well constructed and I know I'll be able to use it through the toddler stage. We also have a Baby Bjorn, that will be for the daddy.

True, BUT if no one remembers how old you are, then no one will know when you truly turn 30! Matt left it blank all on his own. :) Birthday was good...phone calls and texts kept interrupting my attempts at napping when Abigail slept. My in-laws came up and we ordered Pizza Hut (love the stuffed crust!). Matt surprised me with Cirque du Soleil tickets in late February and a vanilla bean cheesecake from Factory. Yum!

I can sleep on my stomach again! And lie on my back for extended periods of time too. I can also crack my back...I don't remember the last time I was able to do that. So many pregnant restrictions!

It's 4am, I'm wide awake. I called labor & delivery again at 3 and they're still full. Looks like I wont have a room until they're able to discharge some patients in the AM. Hopefully, I'll try to get some more rest before we do get the phone call. Waiting is SO MUCH FUN!

Hi, Uma, Jill's mom here. They have gone up to bed to get some rest. Jill called the hospital at about 9 pm and they still have her as #2 on the list. It is evidently quite busy there today! The L&D room nurse she spoke with earlier told her that there had been 6 before her earlier and that everytime they clear a bed someone comes in in active labor. I know that Jill appreciates your advice. We will keep you posted.

You reminded me, I cooked Matt some lunch before he left too. :)

Last night was nuts! Every time I had a BH, Abigail would start moving like crazy. I've read that if the baby moves during the uterus contracting, it's a good sign - the baby is getting enough blood & oxygen during all the contracting. It's very uncomfortable!

The city picked up the leaves Matt was able to bag, but there are a couple huge piles he wasn't able to get to...it was cold and dark! Luckily, there shouldn't be too many leaves left to fall so his work wont go unseen, unless the wind picks up and destroys the piles!

That wonderful philly he couldn't choke down is still haunting him...his car STILL smells like peppers and onions!!! And he had leftover chicken noodle soup today, I wonder if a PB&J sounds appetizing for tomorrow. :)

Oh wow! Janet actually posted a comment!!!! :) Actually, I'm EXPECTING her to be a late arrival and for me to have a really bad, long, painful labor experience, since my pregnancy has gone so well. I've been reading a lot and we did have our Labor of Love class, so I feel as prepared as I can be of something as unexpected as childbirth!

My mom thought she had my profile too, but that was when she was only at 18wks old - and she's been growing in there. Regardless of who we'll think she looks like now, I'm anxious to see her at 35wks old since that's all I can see until her big arrival!!!
