I've been hearing for awhile that "credit is hard to get".. Today I setup a new bank account and the clerk said I was pre-qualified for a credit card with a pretty high limit, far higher than anything else I have. Granted, I imagine I have a pretty high credit score, but still....

So personally I'm not sold on the "credit crisis" theory, however I think Americans are maxed out. (kinda hard to manage credit balances and keep up with payments when you lose your job)

Thankfully I've never been in debt a day of my life and I hope I never will be.

The gov't wants to keep these inflated bubble prices, but the consumer is already stretched beyond their means. We really need this recession so we can recover and get back to realistic prices/growth again.

Re: It took one such a day...

Here's the clip..

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

"The only thing less popular than putting money in the banks, is putting money in the auto industry.."

Re: If the market can not sustain the gains on this

I think my new strategy is to wait for when one of these 3Xs hits a peak, then pick up some puts.. Two pretty bad days on RIFIN (two 10% drops in a row) would get FAZ back to nearly 60/share, and still above the lows. But the decay really does do a number on these 3X ETFs.. I remember awhile back people said SKF would never see 200 again and FAZ would never see 100 again..

Re: Bull Bus...

Yeah I noticed although the market has been up most of the day so far, financials are diving.
