I know and knew many of those men that went to Vietnam and none of them that I knew were as you described. The nerve that some pretty boy actor has to describe those brave men & woman that served and gave all for the country they love. You sir, may now take all of your movies and shove 'em where the sun doesn't shine. I am stunned that you would have the nerve to say these things. You wouldn't last 10 seconds in some of the positions these men were PUT into. They didn't ASK to go. Many were drafted and served. God bless them for that. You should spend some time with a Vietnam vet before saying things in public.

Be ashamed. Very ashamed.

Thank you to all the brave men who served in Vietnam and every other war or "police action" all over the world.

Mr. Kilmer, you may crawl back under your sheltered rock to live your luxurious lifestyle you have come to appreciate, all thanks to the American soldier. You remember them... The "punks", "border criminal or poor", "wretched kids" who couldn't "finagle a scholarship".

I'll abstain from stereotyping all Hollywood actors as being as shallow as you the way you stereotyped
all Vietnam vets.
