Well here is a bit of an insider info...Pictar did a huge promotion over a year ago and lured many excited participants who pledged lots of money in the hopes of getting their own Pictar phone support....over one year later......three or more delays (Currently maybe November as per the latest delay.Last delay was May for August...and that has passed. ) So many who pledged money in good faith have yet to be rewarded with their very own Pictar. Maybe this November...maybe.

3D Garage, Dan Ablan has some excellent ones.
And the modo site has some excellent ones....Any thing by Andy Brown...the best.
Digital tutors has only four....the cover it well and now they have them and many other programs avaliable by subscription...not a bad deal.
Do some searches online, youtube, and you will find many freebies....
Also...go to VanDigital, from Vancouver...and California...he has some good ones....
But really...the many, many , many avaliable via Luxology TV will keep you busy for awhile.
Then if you decide you can spend some money on the others....It all depends on the level and quality of instruction you want.
I recommend you as well to really really spend some time with Modo 301's help menu...it has tons of instructional videos....
Now if you go through all of these....I assure you will be very skilled...and tired...
The best way I found to learn was to set a scene or find a scene you like and make it your goal to obtain an approximation created in Modo. You will be amazed at how well it can be.
Now when you are ready the 401 version is quite excellent.

I use Modo to go beyond what is lacking in many of the kitchen specific design software programs currently out there. It allows me to show custom configurations for my customers and as well allows it to be visible for contractors to understand the 'putting it all together' feel and result better than elevations and plan views could do.
However having used it over the past two years I am still learning how to use it better and faster....and it does allow for lots of flexibilty.
The current 401 and its share materials attributes has greatly allowed me to explore and get better finished results. Still consider myself a novice and lighting is my biggest learning challenge. However as you learn more in each section the proverbial lightbulb goes off and you start seeing tremendous possibilities. I am having so much more fun than using that other cad program...so much more fun.
