You have to install openSSL as I described it in this post. Even if now Mac OS X comes with the version 0.9.8 you still need to install by hand if you want the .dylib in /usr/local/ssl/lib

You should run configure with the shared option. If you don't do that look at the PROBLEMS file inside the openSSL archive.

J'ai transmis ta demande à la personne qui était mon assistant sur ce projet car je n'ai pas eu l'occasion d'interfacer directement le bus CAN a l'ordinateur que j'utilisai pour le développement (seulement via le port série).

I cannot tell you what's wrong. On my actual machine I don't have VMare installed anymore. I can only suppose that you have a problem with your second netword interface in your virtual machine.

Look at the following link http://en.wikipedia.org/wik.... Your access to internet is very probably done via a router. The router has a DHCP server and your VM, in order to access to internet, gets it own IP from the DHCP. And most of the time the DHCP router uses the 16 bit block IP range to dispatch IPs (on top my own VMware also give me a 172.168.X.Y for my local network).

According to you ifconfig output I suppose that the address field should be 172.16.9.1 and Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0. I supposed that the 192.168.6.1 IP adresse is the one used by the VM to connecto to internet (as it has the know pattern of private DHCP router). If it's not working then try nevertheless with 192.168.6.1.

Yes you need to have both OS running (OS X/Linux). I think it's a pretty optimal solution in the sense that you can easily move your installation of Oracle to an other machine wihtout having to re-install the whole thing. Last but not least you don't need to modify the kernel parameter of OS X to support Oracle.

Some answers to you questions:
1. I've a custom confugiration for the graphic hardware in the sense that I replace the ATI 128 that came by default with a GeForce 2Mx (PC version flashed with Mac ROM). In any case, I get without problem the native resolution of my 19'' CRT (1280*1024)
2.I cannot confirm that youtube works because it seems that there is no PowerPC version of the player but mp3 play correctly on the internal speaker.

Concerning the power supply I had the chance that a friend of mine had an old G4 (same model in fact) that was out of order from which I take the functionning power supply. That is, I've no idea if a standard power supply will work.
