Some Americans such as yourself have such a tainted view on the weather here, it's not that much different/worse than NYC, Boston, Detroit, and other big cities across the northern part of the US.

It's good to see that Jumbo Joe can still score legit goals haha! Pac Man went off last night, wow! Weird about Ovie, maybe he's banged up a bit?! Kopitar with 0 points on 6 goals has me seething, didn't see Carter outdoing him this season, sheesh. Great OT goal by Tarasenkshow, man he's talented!

Yikes that was a scary crash by Kane, what a wild game! Loved that 6-0 loss by the Sens, and the Habs getting shut out was also quite sweet too.

After looking at the Hall for Larson deal I'm shocked that Columbus was able to get Jones for Johansen. Young talented centers will typically always be easier to draft or trade for than young talented dmen. RyJo's dropping shot totals are concerning for sure. Jones is on pace for 180+ this season. Now if the Leafs could get a dman steal like that for JVR, I would go for it. JVR > RyJo as well.

That's too bad about Fabbri, that's a tough injury for him and the Blues to accept, especially in the tight playoff race. If only Kopitar could one season get off to a great start he could be a 90 point guy, such a tease to poolies like me this season!

It's a surprising list with no big stars on it right now but it is correct for the most part. Granlund is really looking impressive much like some of his Minny teammates, and does Nashville wish they didn't trade Jones now?!

The Ghost is a bit of a ghost this season, glad I didn't pick him in my draft. The Blues might take off now without Hitch around, it's weird how this happens and to me it might sort of mean that some players are just being babies and not professional if they tune their coach out and just do what they want. Ego likely gets in the way with some athletes, especially in the NBA and NFL. Hopefully the Leafs haven't hit a wall, but it looked that way last night especially with Matthews, really want to see the kids in the playoffs this season!

Great action last night, lots of goals to enjoy! It's funny how many injured players seem to return right after the All Star break. Hitch finally gets fired, it came too late in my opinion but the organization wanted to show him respect I guess. If he retires that's a tough way to go out.

All Star weekend was decent, but too bad the players don't skate a little harder like in the final period of the final game. McDonagh with a million dollar block at the final buzzer was good to see on Kesler though! Enjoyed what Matthews did for accuracy, and McDavid was robbed based on Larkin's unfair start. Hopefully the corporate sponsors enjoyed their schmooze fest and will keep shelling out money going forward.

I took Gaudreau an hour in my draft before he got a new contract and was ecstatic, but taking him over Burns has really burned me up! Hopefully he can salvage his season and find a way to hit mid 60's. I might look to buy low on him next season. He sure looked good yesterday for All Star weekend, if only it was always 3 on 3 for him to benefit with his speed and skill.

So sad that real NHL games won't be happening again until Tuesday. All Star weekend could be OK, McDavid will make 3 on 3 very entertaining. Good to see Johnny Hockey finally have a good productive game, hoping for more of the same in the "second half" of the season and that should happen if him and Monahan stay together. Tough loss for the Leafs, they deserved at least a point I think. Really enjoyed E.Kane in DFS last night!
