In regards to the elderly walking down the highway, apparently a bunch of people had called the police about it because yeah, that's obviously dangerous. Gotta love the response time on that, and now somebody has to live with running a man over for the rest of their life.

Cool, so the next time I get shot downtown (this happens often), I can take comfort in the fact some mounty will be my hero and chase down my shooters (who will, in fact, be speeding away in what I can guess will move faster than a horse, even if it's a dilapidated rapist van).

Ahart's is scary. We go there when we're desperate and only when we're desperate. Last time, Nick caught a guy opening a can of tomatoes in his car and drinking from it. Or something really creepy like that.

And... there is sadly a good chance he'd be stealing the baby formula in EXCHANGE for meth. Baby formula is expensive. The stuff they give out for WIC gets locked up in the back of grocery stores for fuck's sake.

Am I the only one who NOTICED this thing? It was parked on one of the 8th Ave exits. For like three weeks. Nick's sister said she saw multiple accidents there because people kept running into it. It was really obnoxious. They finally hauled it away the other night.

That would be great, except the teachers aren't allowed to do anything anymore. Kids could pretty much beat the living shit out of them and they can't do anything because they'll be sued. There's a lot of stuff that happens in the classroom that shouldn't because you might, God forbid, hurt a child's feelings. And then you'd get to deal with geniuses like Wheathin up there who'd probably show up and bitch about his kid getting picked on by the teacher.

Let me guess, though. You'll be one of the annoying parents who knows everything, coming in every day and demanding to know what Little Johnny did wrong. Because he couldn't POSSIBLY be as bad as the evil teachers say. Or Little Johnny will be too involved in his sports and other post-school activities to do his homework.

If I had to babysit everyone's devil children every day, I'd want a bunch of money, too.
