Is there a reason they're putting a price on it? Like, for insurance purposes? Or are they just trying to milk people?

I agree that it's all kind of stupid. School sports should stay part of the school... although I had to pay for most of my extracurricular activities since my school didn't offer things like music classes or anything art related, really. I kind of hated sports. Except field hockey... but the school I switched to didn't offer that, either. I think my high school may have sucked.

One of my friends actually got one of the mugs at Tally Ho and gathers it cost him about $450-$500. Speaking of spending too many paychecks. I'm 10 in baby, wooo! Haha!

Before I moved here, I wish someone had had a panel for me called, "Dude, your brand new car will be vandalized within an inch of its life and cost $1000 and a new paint job to repair if you leave it unattended for more than an hour."

Sadly this is not uncommon. Many of my mom's coworkers (teachers) took self-defense classes on their own time because kids would try to hit, punch, kick, bite them. Parents pretty much just suck at raising their children anymore.

To tell you the truth, I think one of my sorority sisters picked it out of the garbage can as Fiona and I stood around in horror... and then took it for herself... Ahhhh, college!

Yeah... my parents are recently retired teachers and more than happy they don't have to deal with idiot parents who like to interject their opinions. Mostly hausfraus who are way too bored with their lives and need to live vicariously through their children.
