I just read your plea to take Skins off the air but MTV is already changed their format from "Music TV" to just reality and garbage shows aka. Jersey Shore. I don't think the answer is to force "Skins" off the air. It is up to MTV programming and $ deciding to do so. I did watch all 3 aired episodes and I have to say despite the sex, drugs and controversy the storyline is developing and it has potential to explore issues that are currently not addressed in mainstream television. I agree the first episode was a bit ludicrious and the second episode dealt with "coming out" and some weird blind date set up by one of the fathers, some gang activity etc.. But the third episode addressed child abandonment issues and the characterzations of the teens really developed. Yes, I agree there are scenes in the show that I feel are inappropriate even for me. But that is what free speech is for. I definately would not want my children watching this show, but if they did it would be my role as a parent to educate them. MTV does have music channels they just land in the upper cable channels. Yes, I agree MTV has some bad horrible programming but I guess that is what my remote control is for.

Hi Chris, Another point, if you look at the pretty inside cover from far away, it says "You Matter." I thought that was neat. Linchpin is a great book of thought, your points in video well taken.

Good to be stuck somewhere. Love the thought process that you did on all the platforms. Many people are still adopting social media and so we will see which one prevails in the long-run. Change is always good.

Love your post. This is the future- to go on and do what you love. Share your art, be yourself, inspire others. I too was waiting for the axe to fall, I had nothing to give my agency anymore. The morale completely deteriorated there. Anyways, I am happy enjoying life. I just read Linchpin by Seth Godin, that is an excellent book for people to see that we have art to share and gifts to give.

Exactly, why I want an invite, I am curious to see what this hype is all about. I too am old school, doing everything separate...email, facebook, twitter, I don't file share or play games online. Will Google Wave convert me to be more interactive, we shall see. I am sure there will be imitators of this app soon enough, so yes, I do see start of a bigger things because of this. I want to go to the Blogworld Expo mainly to learn more about the latest technologies in blogging and social media. I want to experience the People, Opportunities, Strategies and Technologies that are being continually updated. The chance to mingle with great minds such as Tim Ferris, Chris Brogan and Jeramiah Owyang would be icing on the Vegas Cake. My friend even is letting me stay in her room if I can come up with a ticket to the Blogworld Expo, I would love to go with her so we can both experience Blogworld together. I think it would be a great hi-tech girlfriend getaway.
