She played us All. From episode One when Dee drew Orinthia Blue, she knew where the story was going. We thought it was going to be about family and the violence and racism perpetrated against us as a people and that we would get some form of redemption. I guess we should have realized that when the story went completely off track on Episode 7. Episode 9 brought us back to the original premise but she continued on with the arc she had in mind. I certainly will not watch a Season 2 if one should occur

You have stated the obvious which everyone else is trying not to mention. It is fear of The Other which spurs gun power. That is why it was so easy for the author to make a comparison to Slave Power.
It is actually one and the same. Sure, money is also part of the equation, as always. Michael Moore made it clear in Bowling for Columbine. It is why this massive gun culture only exists only in the US.

Romney is DESPERATE to win Ohio. In today's paper here in Columbus he has taken out a 12 page ad in the form of a magazine. It is titled
"Who Are The Romneys?" . It is full color and appears to tell the life stories of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. It also contrasts Romney's
record with the President's. There is one article which talks about how wealthy FDR, JFK, LBJ, Senator Ted Kennedy, and Senator John Kerry were or are. I am simply amazed that he has no boundaries whatsoever.

Ratings. CNN has been taking a beating in the ratings. Personally, I always felt they leaned to the right. I stopped watching 4 years ago.
