I live in the NJ/New York City area, and I have Verizon FiOS. It's about 45/month for 25mb down and 8mb up. Comcast offers the same for 40/month. However, at the place where I used to work, about two miles from my house, they can't get fiber or cable, and pay nearly 250/month for a partial T @ 768k. For some reason, they can't get satellite.

I'm an alum of Montclair State, and I must say that I'm jealous of the setup they have there. Two years ago, when I graduated from the Broadcasting Department, they had all SD - DVCAM equipment. It is a different world in there now. What I'd give to take all of my production classes again...
