The first thing that comes to mind is this possibility: when a person likes a product, or posts on a product page, Facebook can show that on that person's friends' timelines. It's an ad, plain and simple, on behalf of the product, but since it's written by a friend, it's "friend's content" and thus blocked.

This is exactly what I was going to ask. I watched a NYTimes (Google NYT transitioning) video a few weeks ago on ladies "transitioning" to natural hair and ever since, I've been in love with the look. So much better looking.

My iPhone toting friend reports that it does get easier and I've seen her typing speed increase (and she has these massive fingernails that add to the speed impediment).

The maps feature worked pretty well for us when we needed it to on a recent trip.
