yeah, the malays are so PURE. 100 percent PURE....so SUCI, tak berdosa.....

betul pun tak banyak golongan bangsawan datang, sebab malaysia ni dulu pun bkn ada apa2 sehingga cina datang membangun. tapi jika ada, bukan-lah orang melayu tau, sebab buta bahasa cina. sejarah cina. bukan saja-lah orang melayu, orang cina pun, byk yang lebih kurang dah jadi orang putih, ataupun tak tau byk sejarah cina.

Memang merupakan satu "style" org Cina utk suka cakap Cina bila ada org Cina. Tapi ada juga yg suka cakap bahasa Inggeris, biasa golongan ini dipanggil middle class Malaysian, jadi bahasa tidak jadi masalah.

mengenai "kebencian" tuan dgn lagu cina, tamil, dsb. ini adalah realiti di bandar2. macam di kuala lumpur, ia biasa ada kawasan cina, melayu, india, dsb. tapi org lain pun boleh masuk, berkawan, etc-lah. di bukit bintang, kini, ada juga dengar lagu pop iran/dsb.

saya rasa sukar untuk memelayukan kawasan2 yang telah lama diduduki oleh orang Cina, India, dsb.

dan kita di bandar pun mungkin lebih suka, biasa dgn "current arrangement". bukan kerana Cina sombong, tapi yang pertama kerana makanan. saya sbg orang cina tak nak kawan2 muslim rasa "dipaksa" kena dikelilingi oleh babi, arak, dsb. tapi ada juga yang tak kisah. pada masa yang sama, org Cina pun suka makan babi, minum arak, dsb, sebab tidak salah dari agama kami.

mengenai sekolah. ini juga masalah besar. lebih baik melayu menyakinkan kaum lain bahawa sekolah kebangsaan/melayu adalah yang terbaik, dgn itu, lebih ramai org akan tertarik dan automatically hantar anak2 ke situ. ibubapa cina juga nak anak2 ada peluang melanjut pelajaran di universiti yg baik, dgn itu keputusan kena baik, lebih dari itu, sekolah mendisiplinkan minda, badan, pergaulan, dsb. kini, susah bagi org cina masuk uni tempatan. dgn kelulusan sekolah cina, mrk boleh pergi ke taiwan, china, dsb yang lebih murah dari london, US, australia, dsb.

kong yew -- hi, 'cos i don't plan to break/flout the law with some loophole. it's time the malaysian govt grows up and the pdrm tries to solve more serious cases instead of erm, investigating frivolous cases. why don't they shut Utusan down? it's also easier to deal with locals. but am looking around for foreign server now.

Hi Aiyo,

In my view, this Selcat "inquiry" is potentially far too defamatory for it just gives one side of the story.
Even if Khir attended, will he be allowed to "defend"? Or just questioned for "fact finding"?
As Teng pointed out, the committee has no prosecuting powers, which lies with the AG.
I am not sure if it has investigative powers.
It sure looks to me like it is superseding the powers of the MACC, empowered by the MACC Act, and the police.
Khir has explained that legally, there is no reason for him to "defend".
If there is any place for that, it is in a court of law.
The burden of proof lies with the prosecution.
This trial by media is totally unfair, in my view.
Also, IMHO, Pakatan Selangor is "over". Are they being thorough? Is Khir the only one who allegedly abused his powers, etc? Or is this common practice and even convention among Barisan? So if Selcat is serious, please conduct a thorough "inquiry".
But my take is leave the investigations to the police, MACC and stick to you jobs as legislators, ie lawmakers.

Hey ABC.
Erm, I am not sure with all the rumours flying around so better clear the air.
But it would sure be funny if they/whoever filed a suit against me for posts in Mei Yen's blog. For I will sure win my defamation suit against them....
Poli gets very emotional over Teresa. I am quite used to it.
We were Fbook scrabulous/scrabble pals till the Teresa controversy (don't remember which one) and then he removed me as his Fbook pal.
Before, he also spread other rumours about me.
In my view and experience, some nut jobs too in DAP, or among DAP sympathisers.
They should learn to aim properly, and investigate. If they are not sure, ask their many lawyers to advise them....
Poli should spend more time with his wife/gf/etc instead of going nuts every time Teresa is linked to some "scandal", true or false.

It's nice to see you again.
Fate is not something that you choose to participate or not.
RIght now you are participating in fate.... ;)
This would take a couple of posts to explain.
Many ppl, IMHO, sees fate as too deterministic.
But they usually fail to consider that each person is unique and wired differently, different talents, etc.
So each has a unique fate that fits into the fate of the universe.
It's no use, like the govt tries now, making the Malays do business, be scientists, etc although we must also promote these areas when not everyone is cut out to be bizmen, scientists, etc.
That's why for a long time (thousands of years), the Chinese have practised meritocracy.
The beauty of meritocracy that is not highlighted enough is everyone is more likely to get to do that which he is most suited to/best at/etc hence can contribute most to society, get the most satisfaction, etc.
It's not about one group dominating another as UMNO likes to paint it.
If you are not good at government then let other ppl do it first. Yeah. ;)

Yeah I read your post and agree with most of your points.
I dunno-lah this Ti fella.
Generally the MCA ppl just can't see it lah. How they look to the people.
And this Ti fella actually won after some blog war etc against his rival etc.
So far, the MCA's favourite tactic is not engagement but just erm psy-war and hantam you, etc as per many comments in some of my older posts.
One guy, I suspect from MCA, asked me to stop whining. I told him to stop telling people how to live their lives. If I want to whine, why not? He is free not to read it, etc. Control freaks!

Pak Lah also agreed with the myth. It's so sad.
But the Chinese will remember who defended them from the Japanese. Definitely not the Brits who FLED.
What Merdeka did the ALLIANCE give "Malaysians"?
The Alliance/Barisan government are like administrators of British law and policies....
So a Malay gets to be on top, so what? It's still British law......
Having said that the English legal system is quite sound and allows us to amend/add/repeal laws to suit the times.
But the amendments under Dr M seems to only serve to Barisan's purpose. Why would a party that truly cared about "independence" not repeal that dumb law in the Police Act 1967 requiring PERMITS for "assemblies" of three or more persons.....Spore has kept a similar law too.....
I agree that a MCP-Brit clash can't be independence but more like defending the CROWN...the IMPERIAL BRITISH CROWN.
But I disagree generally that "ome of these MCA people behave like "landowners in feudal China", who believe that they're one class above the rest simply because of their party membership." Well for one, if one was a feudal landowner in China, one would usually be an official, and good at calligraphy, Chinese philosophy, etc. Not necessarily Anglophiles like the founders of the MCA seem to be....
The Barisan/UMNO is slowly but surely wiping out the Chinese's contributions to building Malaysia...like in KL...just wiping away the history....taking over Central Market, then more of the area, then, Petaling Street......

In my view, this propaganda, erasure/rewriting of "Malaysian" history has gone too far.
And I really pity the people who totally buy the propaganda.....
I still clearly remember the feeling when I saw Kelantan/Kota Bahru with my own eyes for the first time in 2008.
You realise that you can't really believe the MSM anymore. And there is some sinister agenda in their reporting, in my view.
