This didn't work for me. I've been at this for hours and it still keeps rebooting at 20% then failing.

VM win 7 x64
itunes 12.0.1
Taig 2.1.2 and tried 2.0 just for fun
tried installing the iTunes driver
did DFU, Restore (still didn't work)

There is no reason for this to fail as much as it has. Any other solutions or bright ideas?

Ditto. Same thing.. About to try backup, DFU, restore then jailbreak... let me know if anything works for you.

open the app in automator, then go ti the ask for finder items window, change the directory of "mobile applications" (i.e. where iTunes downloads apps from the app store) then click run and follow the directions

sorry it was a bit vague. When I was in cydia, and clicked on search, I typed in something and tried to correct a misspell and the backspace button didn't work for me.

can't seem to get the backspace button to work on certain apps.
