Our old DFCs have been replaced with control surfaces - including a System 5 MC. I do miss the flexible monitoring options of the DFC, and the nice solid "feel" and precision of the rotary controls. Plus the faders are very smooth when working properly. But we did need to move "in the box" as we are having to re-conform mixes almost every other day. We are probably going to equip about 7 theatres with S6 systems over the next year....

Re: Pro Tools Expert Exclusive Interview With Avid To Discuss The S6 Control Surface - News - Pro Tools Expert Blog

Looking forward to getting hands on with an S6 in the near future, but also good to hear that the Artist etc will be updated as well.

Re: Wrong advice for right now – 10 SEO Mistakes you can learn from

Just found this site, and really enjoying the style and no-nosense content,

thanks,

JJ.

Re: Ableton Push Review + Video First Look

I didn't notice any mention of velocity or pressure sensitivity, which would be good to know, thanks.

Re: I Can’t Afford It

Great post - I'm having to sort through my financial priorities at the moment. Nice looking site you have too!
