What a joke, Sale started at 10 am CST. By 10.01 they were all sold out. They must have had 4 or 5 available. Just a marketing ploy. I will never give my business to OnePlus.

Of course I did. This was the Nexus, the Google phone. Bought one for me and a second one for my son. When both started shutting down I contacted Google and they told me to contact Huawei. Huawei told me to call Google. Eventually Google sued them and a Class Action was filed against both. In the meantime I have 2 Google flagship devices that don't work and I have a business that runs off my cell phone. Why would I not cut and run?

There's nothing you can do to force Google Assistant to go live on your phone. It's a server side issue. Just have to wait for it. It's not really that big of a deal. Very similar to Google Now. Never used it much before and not using Google Assistant much either.

Just got home and checked my 6P and Google Assistant is up and running. Had no indication it was running until I checked. Have a Nexus 6P running 7.1.2 on the Beta Program. My version of Google Play Services is 10.2.98 but never had to update it.

Done with Motorola after they stopped supporting the 2014 Moto X one year after it was released. Unforgivable. Lost me as a customer forever.

I'll believe it when I see it. Besides, even if they do update it this time, based on what they did to the 2014 Moto X, I bet this will be the last update this phone ever gets.

This showed up on my Google settings a couple of days ago. Will be interesting to see how this works. If you are afraid of battery issues then simply don't enable it. It's a free country. Nobody is forcing you to use this feature.

Why is anyone surprised? Motorola stopped updating the 2014 Moto X a year after it was released. Whenever I would post a comment online Motorola's apologists would blame the carriers and make excuses for Motorola. I told you so.

This is the same company that stopped supporting the 2nd generation Moto X a year after it was released even though the promise to quickly update the phone was a major selling point. After this happened I ditched my Moto X and went with the Nexus 6P and was getting monthly updates until I recently updated to Android N through the Beta program. I'm done with Motorola. A carrier that quits supporting their flagship device a year after it is released foes not deserve my business. What Motorola is doing with the Z was foreseeable.

If you are running N through the Beta program on your Nexus 6P you cannot sign in. Not much of an "update" for some.

I'm totally with you. I was with T-Mobile since 2002, back when they were known as Voice Stream. I left about 4 years ago because of bad coverage. I would go back if I was convinced that I could count on solid coverage. I am totally satisfied with Verizon's coverage and quality of service.

As a Verizon customer I am grateful that T-Mobile is around. Now you know why the Feds stopped AT&T's attempted takeover many years back.

I can't put my finger on it but something is wrong between the Cubs and Samardzija. Hammel gets 6 million while they only offer Samardzija 4.4 million. Meanwhile Samardzija is asking for 6.2 which is not much for an ace starter. Yet the Cubs are asking too much for him in a trade. This is a dysfunctional relationship.

I hope you are right. I gladly pay more for my service because it is clearly the best service. No complaints. I will be glad if Verizon continued to provide a nano sim card for people that buy the X Phone from Motorola. We'll have to wait and see what happens tomorrow.

Verizon is not going to make it that easy on you. How much do you think they will charge you for the Nano sim card? Maybe require you sign a 2 year contract.

I predict Verizon is going to nail us on the cost of the nano sim card. Maybe require a 2 year contract for a nano sim card that works on the X Phone. Mark my words. There is no way Verizon is going to allow people to buy a phone like this off-contract for $300 and not make any commitment to Verizon. Motorola will design the phone to make Verizon happy because Verizon is their biggest customer. Last week announced that they will be the exclusive provider of the Droid series.

Verizon LTE phones use a micro sim card. But since the Motorola X will use a nano sim card we are going to have to get one from Verizon. I predict Verizon is going to charge a pretty penny, or require a 2 year contract for a nano sim card that will work on the X Phone.
