I ordered mid-October and got my vehicle mid-December [they estimated 8-10 weeks and hit 8-weeks]. There seems to be a small window of people who ordered in the beginning of December who were promised pre-end of year delivery and aren't getting it, but it seems like you gave THEM a deadline? That's just not how this works, and if they didn't explain that to you, then that's unfortunate for sure. Not sure where all the rage is coming from, if you already have another car picked out then so be it.

Re: T-Mobile Un-carrier Next will build taxes and fees into One plan, KickBack will credit low data usage

This also makes TMo1 more in-line with SimpleChoice for single-line customers such as myself. If I stay below 2GB/month most of the time, this brings the TMo1 price to basically the same as the SC-with-no-added-data plan is currently

Re: T-Mobile launching Internet of Things Access packs that bundle wireless data and modules

To help explain this (hopefully) as there seems to be some confusion -- this is intended for little sensors and whatnot. Think about devices like the Automatic plug-in module for cars (it just pings the server once per car ride with your GPS locations/some status updates).

Another example would be something like a temperature or motion sensor... Something that maybe reports a few bits/bytes a couple of times and hour, or only when it's status/state changes.

These things require very little bandwidth since the payloads are so small. There's a ton of opportunity for these in industrial and agriculture outside of the home as well (eg no wifi or bluetooth).

Re: GetWellSteve.com

Steve, (may I call you that?) your products have changed the way a generation lives, works, and interacts. The big media companies see online distribution as a high-risk activity still (ha!), and international online distro is even more complicated.

Re: Progress in the 40-twits app (Scripting News)

I'd love to create an account for @pbs, which I manage. The current players aren't showing many signs of doing anything truly disruptive (ie disrupt the iPhone) it's going to take much more than an open-source platform, much more than fancy push-email, and much more than multi-touch (although I think multi-touch is here to stay).

Re: The post iPhone world

I'd say that in many respects, Microsoft is further along in "getting it" as far as social type technologies go (case in point the xBox) -- Google just hasn't been able to get their fingers into the space very effectively yet.
