There's a Westchester Republican who moved into the district and changed his party last year, now he is on the ballot as a democratic city council candidate! He's known as Fernando Cabrera. There are two other candidates. Maria Baez (incumbent) who is infamous for having the WORST city council attendance record. Then there is Yudelka Tapia, a mother of four, who has lived in the district for over 20 years and has been involved in community struggles and issues since day one. &lt;a href="http://yudelkatapia.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="yudelkatapia.com"&gt;yudelkatapia.com&lt;/a&gt;. One would hope that Bronxites would see the obvious chioce for City Council, but somehow these carpetbaggers and do-nothings get on the ballot.
