For me, the Google+ Circles  alone makes it more useful than Facebook. On Facebook, the privacy settings are so cumbersome, it is difficult to selectively share info with close friends or family. I know a lot of people who have multiple Facebook profiles just to maintain separation between work, friends, and family. Google+ makes organizing your contacts a core feature not an afterthought.
