Joao B. I explored some long tail keywords and I still need to look for a strategy or, even better, change the strategy. The point is all about mixed language contents at websites. I need to segregate domains only for the Portuguese language from English language.
I already tried to have different directories and different pages. In both cases I never get a good rank than using different domains for different languages.
Search engines do not see relationships, and it would be worst if a good translation would lead to duplicate content penalty.
Now I can make the changes and apply the long tail concept. I should have planned ahead but I was making tests to see the results with my own eyes.
Thanks for sharing Simon!

Joao B. Great post Simon. I do like all about you wrote and It's a great post for people that still think that social media traffic as a new school replacing the "old school". Search engine marketing and optimization and blogs will last forever. The way to do that will always be attached to new technologies. We cannot overlook SEM/SEO and try Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization.
Traffic through social media is really great and has all the challenges you are able to tell us how to get the bet from it since you are THE Social Media Marketing expert and authority, THE Social Traffic Leader and THE best community builder.

Joao B. I thing that this evaluation can be see as out of fashion and I am happy to read this post bringing back to the table the both sides of the brain and how they work.

Planning (left brain) requires creativity (right brain). Creativeness is is simply the act of making something new but we need to use the right brain to streamline business procedures or production methods to go beyond customer expectation bars with new approaches that add real value to them.

We do not have a creativity quotient measure and I think that we will never have because the quotient we could find would always express a particular, individual judgement. But we can measure the results of the applied creativity!

Some people are able to develop their creative and it's highly recommend to those people to research about how to and find out which work for them. A look at Creative Education Foundation, Creative Problem Solving Institute, and others.

"Creativity is one of those interesting fields that mirrors the very topic it studies. Just as creativity is complex and multifaceted, so too are the approaches to its study. There are case study, historiometric, laboratory, statistical, meta-analytic, and philosophical approaches. There are studies concerned with social, developmental, personality, motivational, emotional, cognitive and neurophysiological factors. There are emphases on extraordinary creativity, as might be shown by noted artists, composers, scientists or inventors, and on more normative aspects of creativity inherent in how ordinary people solve the problems of everyday life, form, modify, combine and manipulate their concepts, use language in creative ways, and innovate for its own sake. There are basic research approaches directed at increasing our theoretical understanding of the phenomena, and more applied approaches examining the manifestation and enhancement of creativity in business, educational, scientific, social policy and decision-making settings in the real world. This is not an exhaustive list, but does help to point out the richness of the field." ~ Thomas B. Ward

Joao B. Lower can show low relevance.
Simon, it's really a great video! Key word research is so many time overlooked and even forgot. And when we do at YouTube and forget to do the same at Google isn't enough. Google insights for search, Google trends and so many other options for free can help enough. "A keyword that nobody searches for represents 90% of all keywords", "target keywords that will bring you in cash, not just traffic","being able to 'size up' the competition is the most important".
