You know why i went with Intense Debate? Even though Tumblr doesn't let you export posts, Intense Debate lets you export your comments in an XML format that is pretty much compatible with WP, my other CMS of choice, and it even lets you uninstall it. Disqus doesn't let you remove the comments as far as I know, only remove the code from the blog http://disqus.disqus.com/de...

I have to disagree on Mail/Thunderbird. Thunderbird is stable as a rock, always has been for me. An additional bonus is that it's the same across platforms, so you can load Windows/Mac/Linux versions on a thumbdrive and check your email anytime. Also, I'd suggest Todoist over Things http://todoist.com/ They have Firefox and Gmail integration, and a sweet minimalist dashboard widget, and yes, mobile access.

The reason for macs running slower and slower in between restarts is because the maintenance scripts don't run if you don't, which is what Cocktail is for :D

Well....there are websites like http://www.nowplayit.com/ I think artists would benefit more from creating a big community website like that, and then divvy'ing up the spoils however which way they want. Sell access per artist, sell an all-access pass that grants monies based on percentage accessed, etc.

The right sidebar includes all the media your friends are currently engaged in, and if you have so few friends on facebook (82 you say) it shouldn't be so hard to make a couple of friend's lists
